Wendy’s expands localized TikTok marketing platform

The Wendy’s Co. is enhancing its advertising on TikTok through further expansion of its partnership with social media marketing platform, Tiger Pistol. Wendy’s, based in Dublin, Ohio, and Tiger Pistol announced this strategic step, intended to bolster local advertising efforts and foster modern consumer engagement.

Tiger Pistol’s platform serves to augment Wendy’s TikTok advertising reach to its franchisees, the company stated. The prominent Wendy’s U.S. TikTok account currently boasts over 1.7 million followers.

Kristin Tormey, Wendy’s global director for social media and digital engagement, remarked on the successful history of their partnership, indicating that the collaboration had facilitated successful Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns across over 6,000 restaurants in their expansive network. She stated that their objective continues to be industry leadership, achieved through assisting franchisees in creating TikTok ads that are not only high-quality but also align with the brand.

According to Tormey, Tiger Pistol has been instrumental in implementing the technology required for localized vision execution. The social media company aims to help Wendy’s franchise restaurants engage local communities through the use of vertical video, a technique known for capturing heightened engagement levels from targeted audiences. This format serves to lessen distractions while enhancing visual appeal, thereby augmenting each ad’s impact.

Paul Elliott, CEO of Tiger Pistol, commented on the collaboration, dubbing it a demonstration of Wendy’s dedication to staying aligned with modern consumer preferences and a pledge to give its franchisees the best in advertising solutions.

Franchise owners, or their respective ad agencies, are enabled to choose from a selection of brand-created ads that fit their various business objectives. These could include goals like recruiting, promoting special deals, or driving increased foot traffic.

Wendy’s, founded in 1969, presently operates over 7,000 restaurants across the globe.
