The Bermuda Tourism Authority (BTA), has been recognized by the Hospitality Sales and Marketing International (HSMAI), receiving four Adrian Awards. The awards testify to the creativity and innovation that goes into hospitality advertising, communications, and campaigns. Notably, this is the first time the BTA has received these accolades since 2018.
The award ceremony took place in New York, on February 13. The accolades included a silver award for Best Integrated Campaign – Business to Consumer, a bronze award for Best Advertising Brand Campaign, and a bronze award for Best Destination Marketing Organization Website.
Additionally, Jamari Douglas, the BTA’s vice-president of marketing, PR, and communications, bagged an individual award in the category of Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Hospitality Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Optimisation.
Upon receiving the awards, Tracy Berkeley, the Chief Executive of the BTA, referred to the moment as a reflection of their team’s dedication and passion towards promoting Bermuda as a top-tier destination. Echoing similar sentiments, Mr. Douglas stated that the awards also stood as a symbol of pride for Bermuda. The Bermuda-led team planned and executed the awarded campaigns, demonstrating the talent and creativity which the island boasts.
