The Chicago-based organization WDB Marketing is set to celebrate Black-owned businesses and entrepreneurs with a comprehensive three-day event and a gala next month. Over the past two decades, WDB Cares has been instrumental in supporting entrepreneurs with grants, vital education, and comprehensive mentorship.
A highlight of the event is the LEGACY Awards gala, where one promising young entrepreneur will walk away with an impressive $25,000 grant. The gala is part of the multi-day celebration, scheduled to run from February 29 to March 2.
WDB Marketing’s founder, Keeana Barbar, spoke about the upcoming event on ABC7 Chicago, along with Ava Dorsey, who was last year’s ‘Young Entrepreneurs of the Year’ award winner.
