United Producers, Inc. (UPI), the largest livestock marketing cooperative in the Midwest, has announced the appointment of Andy Pinnick as the Sr. Director of Livestock Marketing. Mike Bumgarner, UPI president and CEO, is optimistic about the unique perspective and growth potential Pinnick is expected to bring to UPI’s livestock marketing services division.
In his new role, Pinnick will be crucial in strategic development and leadership, guiding facility managers and sales representatives within the UPI livestock marketing division. His hands-on agricultural expertise combined with an active role in his local agricultural community positions him as a promising leader in this division.
Pinnick holds significant experience in the field. Having graduated from Miami University, he managed his family farm for 15 years, raising Gelbvieh-Angus cow-calf herds and traditional Boer goat herds. His inclinations towards community involvement are exhibited through his active contributions to his county’s 4-H program, the Ohio High School Rodeo Association, and City Gate Church.
Alongside his professional career, Pinnick spends quality time with his family, travels, and plays in his country band “Standard Country Time”. He currently resides in Lebanon, Ohio with his wife Ruth Ann Pinnick and their four children.
United Producers, Inc. serves 30,000 members across Ohio, Kentucky, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, and surrounding states, managing around 2.5 million heads of livestock every year. The cooperative also offers risk management services that include marketing agreements, brokerage services and provides competitive credit services for agricultural farm machinery and livestock financing.
