UTA Buys Gen Z-Focused Marketing Firm JUV Consulting

United Talent Agency (UTA) is enhancing its marketing division with the acquisition of JUV Consulting, a firm that specializes in connecting brands with Gen Z and youth culture. As part of the deal, JUV Consulting’s employees will join UTA’s Entertainment Marketing division, reporting to division co-heads David Anderson and Julian Jacobs.

The addition of JUV Consulting to UTA represents a significant expansion into the marketing and consulting sectors for UTA, which has been steadily pushing into these areas since its $125 million acquisition of MediaLink in 2021.

JUV’s robust client portfolio includes well-known brands such as Google, Unilever, Converse, E.L.F. Beauty, and Lionsgate. Julian Jacobs, who led UTA’s expansion into the New York market, sees the acquisition of JUV as an important tool to help brands authentically connect and engage with Gen Z consumers.

JUV Consulting was built on the idea of providing a platform for diverse young people’s voices, and CEO Ziad Ahmed sees the deal with UTA as an opportunity to further scale their work. By becoming a part of UTA, they aim to join a remarkable story of championing creative voices and broadening their impact.
